New luxury accessories from Hermès for iPhone and Apple Watch
The French label Hermès has nine new charging products for Apple users. The prices are as expected, steep.

For years, Apple has been working with the luxury company Hermès from France for the Apple Watch. This is how there are specific models with the Apple Watch Hermès and the Apple Watch Ultra Hermès, as well as numerous bands. Now, for the first time, there are also charging solutions from the provider. They are less technically interesting than visually and in terms of craftsmanship – with correspondingly very high prices, as one must expect from a luxury brand.
950 to 1350 Euros
The cheapest product is the Paddock Solo charging pad. This is a MagSafe charger for iPhone and AirPods encased in brown calfskin leather, delivering up to 20 watts (power adapter not included). A braided USB-C charging cable is included; it is annoyingly directly connected to the charging puck. Hermès would like 950 Euros for it.

The Paddock Duo for 1350 Euros has a similar design, only longer and equipped with two charging fields. Here too, brown calfskin leather is used and a braided USB-C cable is installed. With the Paddock Duo, you can charge iPhone and AirPods, but also the Apple Watch. The Paddock Yoyo (1350 Euros) also charges two devices simultaneously (Watch and iPhone/AirPods), but has the charging fields at the top and bottom. The cable can be rolled up. With these two charging solutions, you also have to bring your own power adapter.
With case even (much) more expensive – new band
Hermès also puts the charging pads in its own calfskin leather cases (also in brown, which Hermès calls "Gold"), which are sold together with the chargers. A small version (Petit) with Paddock Yoyo costs 3250 Euros, one with Paddock Duo also. You pay "only" 2850 Euros for a small case with the single charger Paddock Solo. Larger leather cases (Grand) are also available with Paddock Solo, Paddock Duo and Paddock Yoyo. They cost 3950 Euros (with Duo or Yoyo) or 3550 Euros (with Paddock Solo). There is still space here for a power adapter, which you can bring yourself as mentioned.
Another new product from Hermès is a new Apple Watch band in a perforated "Néo Tricot" material. At 349 Euros, it seems like a bargain given the other prices mentioned here. There are a total of four colors, although not all are available in both watch sizes (42 and 46 mm).
